However, on Friday evening, the mobile and broadband internet services were restored in the valley after two days.

However, mobile internet service remained suspended for four days. The mobile internet services were restored on Monday evening in 8 out of 10 districts of Kashmir except for Srinagar and Budgam.

The authorities have also lifted restrictions after improvement in the security situation.

Meanwhile, Director General of Police Dilbag Singh has complimented the Police, CRPF and Army deployments for highly professional handling of ground situation over the last 5 days.
