Unknown persons torched two trucks and a two-wheeler in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Official sources told Kashmir News Trust that two trucks parked at Gugbal Qaimoh village of Kulgam district were set on fire by unknown persons. He said these trucks suffered extensive damage.
These trucks bearing registration numbers RJ37GA-1887 and RJ19GB-8628 according to reports had arrived in the area to load apple boxes but before the drivers could do so, they were set on fire by unidentified persons.
Meanwhile in Nilo village of the same district, a Scoter belonging to a policeman was set on fire by unknown persons. Police Constable Mujib Amin Shah had parked the Scooter when it was burnt down by a group of youth, sources said.
Pertinently, Kashmir has been witnessing unabated shutdown since August 5 when Government of annulled the special status of Jammu and Kashmir. (KNT)
