Mod-Smith Projects Private Limited, a strategically business unit of Magnate Group started a three day workshop and training for CNC and Plasma Machines in Jammu and Kashmir state with an aim to introduce the new technology in the business field.
Meekail Ahmad, Managing Director said, “Since the new industrial policy of Jammu and Kashmir government takes place and with the new wave of normalcy in the valley, with regard to that we are coming up with three new ventures in the valley one of them being the MOD-SMITH PROJECT PVT LTD”.
“The three days training programme started from today and will end on December 28, 2021 at Nowgam Bypass, Srinagar with an aim to introduction full knowledge and experience of the expert team of professional engineers with the client and customers of the valley of CNC and plasma machines to understand them with all kind of demonstrations to aware them of the new technologies,” he said.
Meekail Ahmad further said that students from wood technology and mechanical engineering of Kashmir Govt Polytechnic joined to see the new technology and interactive session was held with the site engineers who joined the event from Delhi and Jaipur and ten engineers gave free service at ten different locations and full training to clients on the spot.
“Currently the new business deals with machines related to wood, heavy metal, stone, marble and acrylic,” he said and added that the new era is looking for smart pneumatic control machines and business men usually purchase these from other states and end up facing service and spares related issues.
He further said that the owners of such machines end up paying hefty amounts to procure these spare parts or to accommodate engineers from outside to our valley to fix these issues which can be a very troublesome and taxing process.
“Keeping these issues in mind we at Mod-Smith have taken the initiative to maintain an inventory of these machines and parts for sale. We are also in conversation with many financial institutions for providing hassle free finance to young entrepreneurs which will assist them in setting up their own business unit in the valley,” Meekail Ahmad said.
He said that the group is opening a service centre and a workshop and also forming a dedicated team of engineers to help and maintain smooth functioning of businesses.
“In the 1st phase of our launch we have started a free three days service and training programme for people who already have CNC, Plasma and CO2 cutting machines and if anyone needs any part replacement of the machine will be provided instantly,” he said.
