A fresh power curtailment schedule was announced on Monday for Srinagar in the winter period by Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited.
The curtailment schedule will come to effect from November 15th (tomorrow).

As per the schedule announced there shall be 4 ½ hours curtailment every day in metered areas that includes one and a half hours in morning, afternoon and evening each. The non-metered areas on the other hand will face curtailment for the period eight hours in a day which includes two hours in the morning while there will be three-hour curtailment each in the day and evening.
