Anti-encroachment drive launched in Tral

An anti-encroachment drive was launched by Forest department in Karmulla Village of Tral in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday , official sources said.

They said that on the directions of Forest Range Officer Tral , Block Officer Karmulla Ghulam Nabi Jamshi along with his team undertook a special anti encroachment drive in Karmulla village and removed land which was occupied by encroachers in the area.

“During the drive, our team vacated encroached land besides also demolished illegal plants ,” said GM Jamshi adding “ Forest department – Range Tral is making all out efforts to remove the illegal encroachments”.

He further said that strict action will be taken against the encroachers in future.
