Arms And Ammunition Including Pistol And Grenades Recovered In Pulwama

Police on Saturday recovered arms and ammunition from a shop in Dangerpora area of South Kashmir's Pulwama district.

A senior police officer told GNS that on a tip off, a joint team of Police and security forces launched a cordon and search operation in Dangerpora area this evening.

During searches, one pistol, two grenades, one magazine, twelve live rounds of 9mm were recovered from shop belonging to Sajad Ahmad Dar resident of Tahab, he said.

Meanwhile a case has been registered in this regard and investigation have been taken up, he added.(
