Army on Thursday said that a pre-recruitment training for local youth was concluded at Army Camp Malangam
in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
Army said that in continuation with the previous efforts put in by Army to motivate and train the candidates for the upcoming Army Recruitment Rally, Paribal Tekri Military Garrison under the aegis of Watlab Sector conducted training for the aspirants from 03 to 10 July 2019.
“Wide publicity was given for the same to ensure maximum participation by the local youth. The pre-recruitment training was attended by a total of 21 youth from the area of Paribal Tekri, including two persons from Botengo. The guidance programme included physical training to overcome their weaknesses. They were informed about the documents required to be carried during the recruitment rally. The medical officer also conducted medical examination for all the candidates, to boost their confidence and advise them,” Army said.
The army further said that the aim of the training was to inspire the youth to join Army and acquaint them with the actual test environment which they shall be facing during recruitment.
