As part of its endeavour towards constructive engagement of the youth and channelizing their minds positively 

24 Rashtriya Rifles* under the aegis of
HQ 3 Sect Rashtriya Rifles* organised a *Mega Body Building Championship* at *Kangan Chinar Naujawan Club, Kangan on 18 Nov 20*.
With a singular aim of promoting *Bodybuilding* as a Sport and Showcasing the *Skills of the Local Body Builders*. This initiative by *Indian Army* to provide a common platform to all Body Builders for the first time in Ganderbal was appreciated by the locals. Body builders compete with full *Zeal* and *Enthusiasm* wherein 25 participants took part in 5 different weight categories.
The event was witnessed by
Sub Divisional Magistrate,Kangan
Commanding Officer, 24 RR BN* & *Tehsildar (Kangan).
Mega Body Building Competition* will inculcate Sportsmanship, Competitive spirit and discipline among the youth and motivate many more to follow the path of fitness and Body Building stream.
The winner was judged on the basis of performance in the respective categories and overall contest. *Overall champion* among categories was *Mr Sajjad Khan* who was awarded a *Championship Trophy along with a Cash Prize and a Certificate of Excellence*.
Such events strengthen the existing Army - Awam relationship. Also such sports activities with spread positivity and will *inspire the youth* towards *Sportsmanship & Physical Fitness*.
