Police in Kupwara organised athletic meet for specially able persons at Govt. Boys Higher Secondary School Kupwara.

The event was inaugurated by SSP Kupwara Shri Ambarkar Shriram Dinkar -IPS. He was accompanied by ASP Kupwara and other senior officers.
Proving that physical or mental disability were not a hindrance, athletes at the event participated in various games like Throw Ball, Race, Tug of war etc.
Speaking on the occasion, SSP Kupwara said that such sports competitions for these children gives them an equal participation in the society, they show their best efforts to win the games. He also greeted the participants for participating in the event.
Community members have appreciated the role of police in organizing such events in the district and have hoped to continue such programs in future.
