Bankers Workshop was organized between Self Help Group Ladies under UMEED Scheme of JKRLM and Bankers of Block Baghat Kanipora who are financing the Self Help Group Ladies of Block Baghat Kanipora at office of Block Development Office Baghat Kanipora.

Workshop was attended by Community Cadre of Self Help Group ladies under Scheme UMEED , Block Programme Manager B.K Pora Ms Madina Bukhari, MIS Officer BK Pora Mr Owais Ahmad, District Programme Manager Financial Inclusion JKRLM Budgam Jibran Rashid, Lead District Manager Budgam Madam Farhat, All concerned Bank Branch Representatives financing the SHG Ladies of Block.
Direct Interaction was enabled between Self Help Group Ladies and Bankers to enable ease of Banking for the Ladies under Self Help Group of Scheme UMEED JKRLM.
Many of the Issues like Delay in Credit Disbursal to Self Help Groups, Hindrance in Leader Change Request of Self Help Group, Delay in Account Opening of Self Help Group, SHG Account Title in addition to many other issues were discussed and were noted for immediate redress on Spot by Concerned Bankers.
Lead District Manager directed the concerned bank officials to strictly adhere to guidelines pertaining to NRLM/JKRLM/UMEED and to enable ease of Banking to SHG Ladies.
Bankers assured Self Help Group Ladies of full support and cooperation henceforth with respect to the banking viz a viz Individual Member Account Opening, Credit Linking of Self Help Groups for Creation Of Livelihood, and total FINANCIAL INCLUSION of the Self Help Group Ladies under UMEED/JKRLM/NRLM.
Session was concluded by Financial Literacy Coordinator Budgam wherein he laid the importance of Various Social Security Schemes like PMSBY, PMJJBY, PMJDY, APY etc.
