The grandmother of Brighter Kashmir Executive Editor Jehangir Ali passed away on Saturday afternoon after a brief illness.
The deceased passed at her ancestral residence in Zaloosa, Charar-e-Sharif in central Kashmir’s district Budgam.
She was buried at her ancestral graveyard in Charar-e-Sharif where people from different walks of life attended her funeral prayers.
The deceased was known to be God fearing. The departed soul will be remembered for her generosity and philanthropist nature.
Brighter Kashmir Editor-in-Chief has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Ali’s grandmother.
A prayer meeting at Brighter Kashmir office was also held for the deceased soul.
The deceased is also Mother-in-Law of Fruit Association Charar-e-Sharif President Haji Bashir Baba.
