Sabqat Malik, a young girl from Vijhara village in the Bandipora district, is making waves in the martial arts world. Sabqat has not only secured a silver medal in the Youth Asian Jiu-Jitsu Championship held in Abu Dhabi but has also etched her name in history as the first girl from the entire region of Jammu and Kashmir to achieve this feat twice.
