Reacting to the assertions as “Bullets only way to deal with protestors” made by BJP Minister Chandra Prakash Ganga, the J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) Spokesperson described the assertions by the Minister as a move to “vitiate atmosphere” in the valley saying that “it shows the mindset and politics of exploitation on the part of BJP leader, who seems to be more interested in issuing annoying statements rather than talking of restoring peace and normalcy in the valley.”
Stating that the Minister (Ganga) has said something, which will certainly “vitiate” the atmosphere again in the valley, the Spokesperson lashed out BJP and asked the Govt to come clean on Ganga’s salvo, “as the situation in the valley has already deteriorated to a great extent due to the mishandling of the situation, arising from time to time, in the valley on the part of ruling dispensation in the State.”
The Spokesperson expressed serious concern over the wrong approach of the PDP BJP coalition with regard to the Kashmir situation and said “inspite of taking effective measures for restoration of normalcy, the BJP Minister has started provoking people inorder to achieve something, which suits his Party.”
He said the efforts should be made to bring peace and normalcy in the valley rather than creating a situation, which can be detrimental to peace initiatives.
