Demanding regularizations of their service, the JKCCTA alleged that 2300 teachers were appointed in the Jammu and Kashmir to teach the students. However, now the government has refused to regularize their service and our salaries have been stopped.
We demand job policy and regularization of our service, they said adding if government failed to do justice we will be forced to hit the streets alongwith our families.
Meanwhile, lecturers who were selected by the government alleged that they are still waiting for their posting in colleges since July 2019.
Despite repeated meetings with top officials of the government nothing has changed. We were assured that our posting orders will be issued but so far no such order has been received, they said.
However, they alleged their counterparts of Jammu have been issued posting orders and they are working for the past ten months. Why this injustice with the lecturers of Kashmir when the order of appointment was same, they said.
