Counselling session for engineering aspirants held by Ehsaas International

A local NGO Ehsaas International, under its educational rehabilitation and scholarship programmes, on Monday, conducted a day-long one on one counselling session with aspiring engineering students in Srinagar.
The session started with an opening speech by Hakim Mohammad Ilyas, General Secretary Ehsaas, who deliberated upon the importance of different branches of engineering, future prospects and career opportunities. He also encouraged students to work hard and excel in their relevant fields.
More than 50 candidates attended the session. They were counselled about the continuation of their education and guided for choosing a career of their interest.
The session was followed by a healthy discussion wherein most of the candidates participated and took appropriate guidance in the relevant field.
Besides, few representatives of various engineering college were also present on the occasion like Quest Group of Institutions Chandigarh, Harinder Singh Khanda, chairman, Kuldeep Singh marketing manager, International School of Management Excellence Banglore, Bhutta Group of Institutions Ludhiana Punjab, Guru Kashi University Punjab represented by Firdous Ahmad. In collaboration with Ehsaas International, all these engineering colleges have offered scholarships to meritorious and underprivileged aspirants of Kashmir Valley.
