KARGIL: Deputy Commissioner and CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Baseer ul Haq Choudhary chaired a capacity building programme on Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP) for Panchayat Secretaries (facilitators) here today.
During the programme, Panchayat Secretaries of different Gram Panchayats were imparted detailed training about the various aspects of the GPDP which included detailed information and training on web portals like Mission Antyodaya and GPDP portal.
On the occasion, the DC asked the facilitators to be in constant touch with the concerned field functionaries and people at the grassroots and work with added zeal and commitment to know the actual developmental needs of the people on ground.
Pertinently, in continuation to the capacity building programme district officers and frontline workers of all line departments shall be trained on various aspects of GPDP.
