Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Ashok Sharma today declared inter Zonal District level Athletics competition open here at Chowgan Ground.
After the completion of the inter school zonal level competition, the winning players registered their name for the inter zonal District level competition which started today.
Students from different zones are going to participate in this event organised by the Sports Department under the patronage of Director Youth Services and Sports J&K Gazenfar Ali .
After a warm welcome, District Youth Services and Sports Officer Kharati Lal Sharma presented a memento to the Chief guest and informed the gathering about the achievements of the sports department.
In his address, the chief guest stressed upon the participants to follow all SOPs and work hard to compete in upcoming events.
Later, Certificates were also distributed by the chief guest among students who participated in the Skiing event at Srinagar.
