February 22, 2021 | BK News Service

Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Rajesh K Shavan on Sunday chaired District Level Review Committee(DLRC) meeting to review the progress achieved under the targeted schemes by the banks and the line departments.

The DC took a detailed review of the CD ratio in the district, number of financial literacy programmes conducted by the rural branches of banks, performance of banks under annual credit plan, progress under government sponsored schemes, progress under KCC, joint liability groups, self help groups, EDP/DBT and recovery under sponsored schemes etc.

He asked the concerned authorities to make added efforts to increase the CD Ratio in the district as there is always a scope for improvement. He directed the Bankers and the line Departments to work for effective implementation of self employment generation schemes by sorting out the issues in the process of disbursement of loans. He further asked the Bankers to be liberal while sanctioning the loan cases.

Regarding the social security schemes, the DC said all the Job Card Holders, KCC holders, labour card holders,  ASHAs and Anganwari workers will be linked with the insurance schemes to benefit them.

Stressing on spreading financial literacy, the Deputy Commissioner asked for increasing the intensity of the camps and mega camps in collaboration with the line departments in all subdivisions.

To overcome the impediments like title verification during the disbursement of the amount under PMAY (U), the Deputy Commissioner advised the officers to organise a joint camp of revenue, DUDA and bankers so that issues can be resolved.

The Deputy Commissioner directed the Chief Agriculture Officer Rajouri to provide the PM KISAN list to concerned Lok Mitras for verification, to weed out ineligible beneficiaries.

Meanwhile, the Officers of RSETI were directed to identify the targeted group for vocational training and submit a proposal for hiring of private buildings for girls hostels.

The Deputy Commissioner also approved an Annual plan of RSETI amounting to Rs 25.10 lakh.
