Ahead of the much-awaited February 8 Delhi Assembly elections, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday promised to the people, clean water, 24-hour power supply, quality education, reduction of pollution and women's safety, if he returns to power.
Launching the 10-pointer 'Kejriwal Guarantee Card', he said, "Delhi is the only city in the world, which has uninterrupted power supply. It is my guarantee that for the next five years too, 24 hours of electricity will be provided and it will be free up to 200 units, till Kejriwal is there."
The Chief Minister said the Opposition is spreading lies that the free government schemes will not be available beyond March 31.
"Every household will have pure drinking water for 24 hours. The scheme to provide 20,000 litre free water to every family will continue for the next five years," Mr Kejriwal said.
Talking about education, he said, "Every child, who is born in Delhi, will be given 'world-class' education till graduation.''
He further promised to build more schools in the next five years, if the need arises.
Through advanced hospitals and mohalla clinics, the government will provide good healthcare services to the citizens, the Chief Minister assured.
Talking about the unauthorised colonies, he said, "We are committed to give basic facilities in these colonies. We will make roads, sewerage system, Mohalla Clinics and provide them with clean water."
He added that more CCTV cameras will be installed in these colonies, in the next five years.
AAP has set a target to reduce the pollution level in the city at least three times under the 'Guarantee Card,' Mr Kejriwal said.
''After my return to power, I'll make sure that every Delhiite is able to take a holy dip in river Yamuna,'' he assured.
Talking about the women safety, Mr Kejriwal said the AAP government had installed more than two lakh street lights in the city and he would install more in the coming days.
"On the lines of bus marshals, mohalla marshalls will be deployed in the city, to make the capital safer,'' he added.
