Director General of Police J&K Dilbag Singh has expressed his gratitude to the Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha, Home Secretary, Government of India, Ajay Kumar Bhalla, Chief Secretary Dr A. K. Mehta, Principal Secretary Home Shaleen Kabra for clearance of Non Functional Grade to a sizeable number of JKPS officers on the pattern of JKAS officers, for clearance of 243 promotion cases of DySsP to Selection grade, as well as clearing some of old pending SRO cases of compassionate appointment of NoKs of our martyrs.
These decisions will go a long way in boosting the morale of officers and personnel of J&K Police and the NoKs of slain Police men.
He also thanked PHQ officers and staff for preparation and follow up of these cases on day to day basis.
