Director Animal Husbandry Department Kashmir (AHDK), Purnima Mittal today inaugurated a Cold Storage facility (Walk-in Freezer) at Poultry Marketing Division (PMD) of Directorate of Animal Husbandry here.

The facility has been set up under Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojna, a Centrally Sponsored Scheme of Government of India and will serve as an asset in augmenting the poultry marketing capacity of the department.
The director also held a detailed discussion with the officials of the division regarding marketing of poultry and poultry products and future innovations and interventions needed for the betterment of the sector.
