Jammu and Kashmir Monday claimed to have busted a fake job racket by arresting five people.
Police said that after investigation it came to fore that some people were active in various district duping naïve people in the name of providing government jobs.
“A gang was operating from Srinagar, Budgam, Baramulla in which two constables of Railway Protection Force Budgam, running a fake Job racket and duped so many persons and collected hefty amounts,” the investigation conducted by Baramulla Police Station revealed.
Police said that subsequently, five persons were arrested and three fake orders have been seized so for from the possession of accused persons.
Police said that investigation of the case is going on and more arrests are expected.
Police identified the accused as Hafizulla Lone, a resident of Diver Lolab, Ashiq Hussain Naik of Kralgund Qazigund Kulgam Ather-ul-islam of Devar Lolab Kupwara, Ajaz Ahmad Lone, a resident of Tujer Sharif Sopore and Abdul Rashid Wani of Nagbal Khag Budgam.
A case vide FIR number 17/2021 under section 420,467,468,471 has been registered in this regard.
