While the religions, suffice the spiritual aim of an individual and grows him profoundly on hierarchical ladder of spirituality and refine as well as define his soul. Here, the belief of an individual in the supernatural power who is generator, destructor and designer of the whole universe is having paramount importance as well as obligatory. The belief in any religion also corresponds to the divine scriptures as well, be it Quran, Bible, Gita , or any other sacred revealed text. The divine scriptures define the code of conduct of the follower, which he/she has to abide in letter and spirit in his daily life from cradle to grave. Therefore belief in supernatural power say GOD, becomes central theme of the religion. However when every religion defines the spiritual culture of an individual, then replacing that divine element with temporal becomes contradictory as well as hypocrisy.
While here in Kashmir, there is a rich and virtuous legacy of famous peers and saints who sacrificed their body ,mind and soul in the service of God and general humanity. They rendered an unforgettable service in propagating the religion chiefly Islam. Every moment they spent, was in the service of God .Majority of whom have traversed the path of spirituality with true love and faith of God. Their mere uttering of common words are of immense value , full of teachings and wisdom , which are still contemporary and relevant. The chief and august personalities’ were –Sheikh Norudin Norani [RA],Ameri Kabeer Mir Syed Ali Hamadani,Syed Simnan[RA], Baba Gayamudin[RA] etc. It is because of their pious teachings, life style, that Kashmir is known as Peer War or the land of saints. However, while going through the present circumstances of the country, especially Kashmir, there has been a spike in fake peers , who are on daily bases exploiting the general masses mainly illiterate and superstitious people. In some cases, there are reports that[Kashmir crown] that these fake peers are ruining the chastity of innocent girls who are depressed by some personal or social causes. They charge hefty amounts to the people who visit for spiritual solace. In the name of religion they enjoy the position of self-styled peers. Many times where the real face of their work came on to the surface. However this evil is still existing and is ruining the sanctity of religion and the legacy of true saints which still reverberate on the lips of common folk. They have eroded the chastity of the land of saints and the evil is still propagating without any impediments. It will not be exaggerations that still people are devoid of rationality that results in falling into the web of these fake peers. While Islam is monotheistic religion and consecrate deep into the service of ordinary human is a great sin. Still people never refrain from indulging in commemorating these idle and imbecile creatures who turn to be the worst beasts at the end as they all are having credulity nature.
Civil society in general and Islamic preachers in particular need to contain the distension of the debacles by these self-styled peers who exploit people spiritually , physically , emotionally and economically. Often people carry rams , chicken , rice , and much more with them while visiting these hypocrites who pose to be the well-wishers of religion and people , and finally they are deceived badly. More over Government needs to frame laws to imprison such people who lure the people on pretext of false hopes and extract everything they need. Heads of family units need to aware family members regarding these cunning people. If people need really solution of their problems they need to bow before the ALL MIGHTY ALLAH, who is the most beneficent , and all merciful. Doing these activities people ruin their own lives as well as the hereafter. This is unfortunate such wicked fake peers even cannot change their own life , then how they can change of others. Besides , when prayers , Fasting , pilgrimage sacrifice is for the ALLAH , alone then why people surround these fraudulent people. Perhaps the trust and faith is missing in our heart and this tends to bow where even angels fear to tread. Also, there are many occasions where we debate and discuss religious matters but they are all regarding the heaven and hell. The existence of an individual in the physical universe matters a lot, as is said it is not essence but existence which matters most.
Hence , in this context people must rely on religion and revealed texts , and seek salvation by pleasing Almighty Allah, by worshiping him alone and not replacing him by any third party, which is itself a grave sin , which is totally unforgivable , as they have already accepted by heart [LA ILAHA ILLAH].There is no one except Allah. Mere uttering this sentence and not abiding the same is hypocrisy and weakest belief in Allah.
