Security forces on Friday conducted a raid during afternoon, following the inputs about a gathering of 50 to 70 persons, present in a Jamia Mosque, at Sherabad in Bully Tral for Friday prayers, sources said.
Official sources said that "Police along with CRPF 180 conducted a raid and asked people, who were in mosque for prayers, to come out."
They said that announcements were also made on PA system to desist such practices owing to spread Corona infection in gatherings.
"Upon this, locals pelted stones and few shells were fired by forces to disperse crowd," they said.
Meawhile, as per the official, "In this context FIR no 25 dated 2020 p/s Tral u/s 188 ipc, stands registered against the offenders."
