In continuation with the efforts of the Army to connect with youth and engage them constructively, Army Camp at Dardpura of Bandipora Military Garrison conducted a Friendly Volleyball match for youth of Dardpura. The match saw locals displaying sportsmanship, unmatched josh and love for the game. A total of 22 youth participated in the match. Presence of considerable strength of spectators cheered their teams and encouraged the players. A sizable number of spectators included elders and children. All the locals were very happy with the efforts of Army and requested for more such events to be conducted in future. Such initiatives by the Army would go a long way in further strengthening the bond between AWAM & JAWAN.
