Headless body of youth fished out from Jhelum in Hajin

Headless body of a youth was fished out from river Jhelum in north Kashmir district of Bandipora, official sources said here Sunday.
They said that panic gripped Paribal village in Hajin, Bandipora, when some locals saw a headless body floating in river Jhelum.
The locals immediately informed the police, they said, adding a team was rushed to the spot and the body was taken away.
The deceased was later identified as Muzafar Ahmad Parray, who went missing from his home in Sumbal in Bandipora since August 24.
“Parray was lodged in a local police station in a stone pelting case from last three months. He was released just 20 days back,” they said.
After completing all the legal and medical formalities, they said body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites.
