Forces personnel conducted surprise searches of house boats and some houses on Abi Guzar Bund here in Kashmir capital Srinagar on Wednesday.

Special Operation Group personnel appeared on the bund and started searches of house boats starting from ‘Foot Bridge’. The location where searches were conducted is housing the office of Jammu Kashmir Apni Party headed by Syed Altaf Bukhari.
Eyewitnesses said that thorough searches were conducted and identity cards of those residing in house boats were checked and questioned.
In past as well, searches were conducted in house boats in Abi Guzar area of Srinagar.
