The Institution of Engineers (India), Jammu & Kashmir State Centre, Srinagar, hosted a one-day seminar to celebrate World Telecommunication & Information Society Day. The event, themed "Digital Innovation for Sustainable Development," brought together a distinguished group of participants. Attendees included corporate members of IEI, Executive Committee Members, academicians, students from NIT Srinagar and Kashmir Government Women's Polytechnic College, as well as other engineers and faculty members. The seminar was conducted under the patronage of Er. Iftikhar Ahmad Hakim, Chairman of The Institution of Engineers (India), J&K State Centre. Additionally, Er. Henna Khan, JTO at BSNL, offered valuable perspectives on engineering within the telecom sector. Her contributions were particularly insightful, reflecting the crucial role of telecommunications in sustainable development.
