Army Camp Chotan under the aegis of Boniyar Military Garrison of Himalayan Brigade in its continuous drive to build cordial relations with the people of Nowshera held a stakeholders meeting, Army said on Tuesday.
“The meet was attended by stakeholders of the entire area including Sarpanchs, lambardars, teachers, ward members, Maulvis and other key members of the society,” the army said.
The army statement further said that the various issues of the society like health and hygiene, engaging the youth, medical and veterinary aid, maintaining peace and harmony in the area were discussed during the interaction.
“The meeting was followed by lunch where the Awaam and Jawan ate together and shared the bonhomie thus promising each other good coordination and cooperation for a brighter future,” the army said.
The event culminated with a group photo, they said.
“The initiative was appreciated by all present, the gesture and bonhomie extended went a long way in further strengthening the bond between 'AWAAM & JAWAAN' and the resolve of working towards the betterment of our Great Nation,” the army said.
