SSP Security Civil Secretariat J&K, Mohammad Yaseen Kichloo, on Thursday held interactive session in order to generate Cyber Hygiene and Cybercrime awareness among the officers and officials of various departments of Civil secretariat.
The session was under the supervision of ADGP Security J&K S.D Singh Jamwal at Civil Secretariat Jammu, officials said.
During the interactive session, SSP Security deliberated and discussed threadbare on Cyber hygiene and Cyber Crime issues and gave detailed updates on different emerging trends on cybercrime which include Identity theft, vising, phishing, spoofing, ransom ware attacks, sextortion, what's app and facebook cloning with the participants. They were sensitized about Cyber security particularly the use of digital, online, virtual mode like e-office/different digital services, they said.
SSP Kichloo also discussed fake accounts and how criminals dupe thousands of innocent people by impersonating and other weird methods. He gave many advices and tips to the participants to protect them and their loved ones from Cyber criminals, the officials said. The interactive session was attended by senior officers of Law department besides officers, officials of various other departments, security officials, and CRPF personnel. The participants lauded the efforts of the SSP Security Secretariat J&K and thanked him for interactive cum awareness session, they added.
