So the person who has a law degree or who can patronage the system of law is commonly called a lawyer. Lawyers are not ordinary people, they are proficient and learned people who safeguard the rights and privileges of the citizens in any country.
The legal domain is one of the three professions which is traditionally deemed as a skilled profession. All the members associated with this profession are learned ones as they deal with knowledge, ideas, and ethics
Hence, advocacy is an inalienable job if performed in its true essence. Advocacy strives to guarantee that all people in society are heard on matters that are important to them. Insure and endorse their rights. Have their opinions and hopes genuinely deemed when verdicts are being made about their lives. Safeguard, Confidentiality, Equality and diversity, Empowerment,
and putting people first are the principles of advocacy.
But the question is whether advocacy is a means of income only or a spirit of social service ?.
Advocacy is a divine assignment duly supported by divine verses. Islam proponents that advocates can approve a marriage agreement through proper channel.it is therefore more than a profession. The job of advocates is to enlighten the people by acknowledging them how to follow and apply laws as a defense against injustice and offenses.
When we go through the applied aspect of advocacy we find it as a source of income only though there are exceptions. There are thousands of baseless lawsuits pending in the courts and people find it very easy to register a case in the courts only to poke fun at simple and honest people. It takes years to substantiate the truth. The person who wastes the time of the court by registering a fake case is never punished or fined. Instead of this, he, on the assurance of his lawyer, becomes confident to win the case. One may ask why? Simply to make money, some lawyers don't speak categorically or straightforwardly. Consequently, an innocent and immaculate person suffers and feels humiliation in attending the courts frequently. This type of practice sometimes leads to unexpected reconciliation and loss that can not be compensated. Had there been a stringent mechanism to prevent such malpractices there would have been no saturation of baseless cases pending in the court. A simple feud sometimes takes the shape of disastrous enmity only because of ill guidance by a lawyer. Many women get divorces for a small argument and many children struggle in their lives because of the separation instigated by a lawyer. The lawyer who drafts a divorce deed later pleads for reconciliation. These examples show that advocacy has been misused by some lawyers to earn money and thus has become a source of income. No matter whether the matter is simple or complicated. You have just to enter the lawyer's chamber and the suit is registered. The profession and the service should go side by side. Serve while you earn. Simple disputes should be avoided and the suggestions that would solicit fraternity should be offered. People consider advocates as wise and prudent advisers. Like doctors, people also consult advocates for foolproof decisions and distributions and it implies the significance of advocacy.
Advocacy is the only instrument through which justice against all odds, cruelties, oppressions, and unlawful activities is sought. It is also a defense mechanism that ensures the rule of law in any country. It helps citizens to control criminal activities and prevents harmful activities. So, it can be inferred that advocacy is a strong wall that guards a country's constitution and shatters illusions regarding its content.
Advocacy as a spirit of social service aims to help;
citizens to get people to appreciate their point of view.

Thus advocacy should be a strong instrument to facilitate Justice and it should the prime goal of an advocate to strive for it. Seeking justice has become an unaffordable job. It should have been simple and affordable or inexpensive for the people. As it is eminent that sincere advocacy is a strong pillar of a progressive society. It not only promotes harmony but also suppresses the sentiment of prejudice and extremity.
Whenever a crime occurs in the state or country, advocacy strongly condemns and argues for the harshest punishment.
It is an internal cover of defense that caps the embezzlement and other ridiculous things. It is thus service to mankind and strong support to the truth, honesty, integrity, fraternity, and welfare of the people. Many advocates in our country support and promote constitutional values and take a strong stand against its annihilation.
At the same time, there are instances where lawyers misuse or exploit the weaknesses of the law and keep the candle of their greed burn. In many open and shut cases like rapes, murders, embezzlements, scams, and subterfuges advocacy hampers the procedures of justice and gives shelter to many fugitives. It is all done for the money which is against the natural spirit and mission of advocacy.
In nutshell, advocacy should be a mission to fight for justice and safeguard social values. It is because Lawyers are advocates and advisors for our society.
They work to embody individuals and enterprises in civil prosecutions and to foster justice in criminal trials. Advocates work as consultants to their clients, notifying them of their rights, the procedures of law, and help them steer the sometimes-tricky legal system. This tricky system should be abolished and courts should not harbor criminals in the name of hearings. I believe if advocates prefer justice over the source of income then the time is not far when courts will get rid of thousands of baseless cases.
The whole process of legal trials should not be a wastage of time as this quote suggests.
