Jammu and Kashmir police pays homage to officer killed in Srinagar militants attack

To pay homage to martyr police officer Shri Imran Tak, a wreath laying ceremony was held in DPL Srinagar.

Among the police officers who presented wreaths and flowers included IGP Kashmir Shri Munir Ahmad Khan, IGP Armed (Kashmir) Shri S. Ahfadul  Mujtaba, DIG CKR Shri Ghulam Hassan Bhat, and a number of SsP & Commandants of armed/IR, DySsP and Jawans.

As has been reported earlier SI Imran Tak resident of Basantgarh, Udhampur lost his life in a militamts attack at Gulabbagh, Srinagar.

Meanwhile,Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT) Friday evening claimed that footballer turned militant was allowed to leave for home.
According to local media, LeT chief Mehbood Shah said that Majid Arshad Khan, who had joined the outfit over a week ago, was permitted to leave for home following request by his mother

The family members were threatened to death by Indian forces in reaction to which his mother requested him to come back,” Ghaznavi alleged. “We respected the mother’s call.”

“If, under any circumstances, Majid is martyred by police under the disguise of fake encounter, then the sons of the very police officers will bear severe consequences,” he said
