Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday reported 182 new covid-19 cases. However, no death due to the virus was reported in last 24 hours.
Of the fresh cases, 33 were reported from Jammu division and 149 from Kashmir, taking the overall tally to 336063.
Srinagar reported 69 cases, Baramulla 32, Budgam 17, Pulwama 3, Kupwara 11, Anantnag 1, Bandipora 5, Ganderbal 6, Kulgam 5, Jammu 11, Udhampur 4, Rajouri 3, Doda 1, Kathua 2, Kishtwar 2 and Reasi 10.
However, there was no death due to Covid-19 in J&K today. So far 4466 persons have died of coronavirus in J&K —2184 in Jammu and 2282 in Kashmir.
Besides, 160 Covid-19 patients also recovered during last 24 hours. Of them 32 were from Jammu division and 128 from Kashmir. So far 329891 patients in J&K have recovered from Covid-19.
At present there are 1706 active positive cases —248 in Jammu and 1458 in Kashmir.
The officials said 52369 doses of Covid-19 vaccine were administered in last 24 hours.
No new confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) was reported today. So far 49 black fungus cases have been confirmed in J&K, the officials said.
