J&K vocational instructors demand regularization

All J&K Vocational Instructors working in Technical Education department, Monday appealed authorities to regularize their services.

The vocational instructors said that the department appointed us as vocational instructors for ITIs on consolidated salary for imparting both theory and practical training in different trades/streams. Since 2005 we are offering duty with faith and dedication.

They said we are working on non fixed term basis from last 10 years even more, we have no service break from our initial appointment till date.

They said As per the GAD order NO: 1661 of 2003 we have fulfilled all the criteria requisite in order to get regularize, Honorable High Court of J&K passed a number of intern orders in our favour but unfortunately our department is yet to show any positive response.

They added We are highly qualified and experienced. The regularization of our service is long pending and genuine demand.

They appealed authorities to regularize their services without any further delay or be ready to face consequences.
