India is treated as a best example of varied civilization witnessing the fusion of several customs and traditions, which are reflective of communal harmony and integration. Everyone feels free to contribute in his own way without any kind pressure or force. The nationalistic fervour of the people is the contributing force to instil a sense of national pride in the heart of everyone.
From few decades something has changed the mind set of people in complete negative and destructive way. This has given birth to hate and crimes and resulted into victimisation of people belonging to weaker section of society predominantly Muslims.
Currently India is observing fast growing hate crimes related to religion and people belong to major religion start to lynch other religious people in which 90 present Muslims we're targeted.
In nation wide a kind of wave is blowing in which a message is sent that every kind of sect should merge in an exclusionary nationalism and advocating the same by way of aggression and anger. In the union of nationalism Muslims fail to show equal support and they become worst ever targeted sect and continuously they feel more frightening and insecure and for them India is looking a dangerous place to live.
Sporadic fear, violence and hate are increasing continuously and lethally Muslim minority people are particularly hit. A dangerous move shivers everyone when lynching an agonizing act has started openly in which Muslim people are beaten ruthlessly by some groups and even many death cases have registered. Few days back a Muslim boy , Tabrez Ansari, 24, ruthlessly beaten by a group of men over an accusation that he had carried out a burglary in Kharsawan district, in Jharkhand state.
He was tied to a pole and also forced to shout "Jai Shri Ram" this has been surfaced out through a viral vedeo.The group of angry people had beaten Ansari for nearly 12 hours and later succumbed to serious injuries.
An environment has been created across the country that enables and encourages this kind of violence and surprisingly educated and degree holders are taking good participation . This has spread a complete nuisance and hatredness and people are looking scattered and shattered. Many organizing agencies tried their best to start a campaign of solidarity for victims hit by hate violence, including lynching’s and even a caravan of love has started in every corner of the country but at ground level nothing has done fruitful and every kind of violence looking a big threat to traditional civilization and harmony.
People must not refuse to acknowledge that incidents of lynching are not ordinary crimes but reflecting normal periodic failures of law and order even stringent laws failed to curb these incidents. Majority of these incidents are hate crimes and Muslim minorities are targetly hit by hate violence when knowing their identity. Especially young people are involved in lynching as they are looking frenzy and out bursting all their anger and aggression over poor and weak Muslim minorities.
The permissive environment for hate and violence has given birth from violent and hate speeches of selfish leaders of major parties to earn more vote bank from public.
In order to save the beauty of nationalism and integration of India hate Crimes have to control at their root level. People must be acknowledged about the bad consequences of hate violence, take media as an instrumental hand to highlight all the social values and their inculcation at ground level in the society and also take out rallies and campaigns to insist people about the dire need of humanity, harmony and integration.
So keep the shine of traditional civilization and integration of different sects alive in India ,all the people have to become the safeguard of it otherwise violence of any kind can whip the nation into blood oozing scars.
