Kuldeep Handoo (Dronacharya Awardee) inaugurated the 3 day district Srinagar Wushu Championship today at Indoor stadium Polo ground Srinagar.
Approx 750 Boys and Girls from different clubs and schools are participating in the championship. On the inaugural Kuldeep Handoo congratulated District Secretary Mr. Maqsood rather for organising district event and providing Platform to the youths of the District Srinagar.He also thanked J&k sports council for raising infrastructure in every nook and corner of the state,resultant large number of players are coming for the sports in every district.
Kuldeep Handoo delivered some golden words to the participants which will definitely prove fruitful to them and encourage them to get into the sports as sports develop sense of discipline in them.
He wished all the best to the players and emphasised to be the ambassadors to their respective areas for the promotion of sports and inculcating youth towards sports.
Mr Nisar Hussain (President Awardee) ,Mr Rameez Ahmad (Coach Khelo India), Mr Aijaz Hassan (Coach Khelo India), Mr Irfan Wani among many dignitaries remained present during the opening day.
