Police along with security forces have arrested one active militant of LeT from Hajin area of Bandipora and recovered arms & ammunition from his possession.

Based on credible information, Handwara Police along with Bandipora Police, 13RR, 32RR & 92BN CRPF have arrested one active terrorist identified as Aquib Ahmad Rather @Jana son of Ghulam Mohd Rather resident of Sahipora, Handwara from Hajin area of Bandipora.
Incriminating materials including arms & ammunition were recovered from his possession. As per police records he was linked with proscribed terror outfit LeT.
Case FIR No. 77/2020 under relevant sections of law stands registered in Police Station Kralgund and further investigation has been initiated.
