Srinagar: National Lok Adalat Saturday settled 33 cases of different road accidents and distributed over Rs 2 Crore among the victims of families.
The National Lok Adalat was held at Bench Number 1 of District Court Srinagar that was headed by Principal and District Sessions Judge Srinagar, Abdul Rashid Malik while the Presiding Officer was M.A City Court Srinagar Suresh Chandar Katil.
“Thirty-three cases related to different road accidents were settled and Rs 2 Crore, 18 lakhs and 65 thousand were distributed among the victim families. These cases were settled amicably,” the Presiding Officer said.
