Mr Abdul Hamid Shah a 45 Years old local from Chandigam, Lolab could not hold on to his tears mixed with happiness and pride, while speaking about success story of Master Shah Abrar Ul Haq for securing seat at IIT Mumbai during the felicitation ceremony organised at Hamid Chara, Army Goodwill School, Chandigam.“Those parents are very lucky, whose children are doing well in their education and connecting them with positive growth for the development of Kahmir”, said Abdul Hamid Shah with excitement and pride. He said adding, “Hamid Chara AGS Chandigam, a school run by the Indian Army, for betterment and development of Kashmir is taking all possible measures beyond expectations of everyone to make Kashmiri students successful in their life and immensely contributing to the growth and development of Kashmir”. Mr Abdul Hamid Shah was very happy while expressing himself during felicitation ceremony organised by the teachers and alumni of Hamid Chara AGS Chandigam for success of master Shah Abrar.
Education in every sense is one of the fundamental factors of development. No region can achieve sustainable development and growth without educated human capital. Over a period of time, Kashmir has lagged behind due to religious fundamentalism and militant activities in the region. For a long time, Kashmiri students could not progress due to the fear and terror created by Pakistan sponsored tactivities in Kashmir. Kashmir has immense talent, and it is now being channelized in the right direction with the support of local administration and the Indian Army.
Militancy in the past has badly impacted the present and the future of Kashmiri children. Militancy is the biggest enemy in the path of development of Kashmir. Common Kashmiri people have understood now, that militancy and those who support and provide sympathy to militants are the ones who are ruining the future of Kashmir. People are now not hesitating to come forward and openly support the efforts by the government and Indian Army for the progress and development of Kashmir. There are many examples where common Kashmiris have come forward in contributing towards the development of Kashmir.

Today, the situation in Kashmir has changed with the consistent efforts of Indian Army and the Government. The efforts and investment in education sector by the Government is showing its result by creating role models like Master ShahAbrar for the youth and for the new generations. Many such role models will be seen in near future and Kashmir also, along with the rest of India, will progress towards development by creating positive growth of human capital. The day is near when Kashmiri talent will put its imprint in the history of humanity as the Kashmiri common public stands together and supports all efforts by Indian Government to counter militancy and encourage development in all aspects. There is no doubt that Kashmir has a very bright future ahead.
