Mother of Rashid Makdoomi Printer, Publisher of Greater Kashmir,Uzma and Majid Makdoomi Prop. Greatway Communications and president of Print Media Association Kashmir passed away on Saturday evening after a brief illness at her Zukura residence , she was 85.

The departed soul will be remembered for her philanthropist and generosity nature. She was God fearing and down to earth lady . Her loss has created void not only in the family of Makdoomi but among the entire locality. May Allah Allah shower His choicest blessings on the departed soul and exalted her soul at the highest place in Jinnah and give strength to bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
Meanwhile Haji Jan and family stands with the bereaved family and prayed to Almighty Allah for the peace of the deceased soul.
