
An amount of Rs.9,500 was realized as fine from the erring traders during the market checking of various markets in Tral sub district on Wednesday.
The checking squad headed by Tehsildar Tral Ghulam Rasool, SHO Tral Aadil Ashraf, and Executive Officer Tral Manzoor Ahmad also destroyed rotten vegetables and other substandard products during the inspection.
The squad during a few days collected a fine of Rs. 15,000/- from those shopkeepers who were found involved in various violations of laws in the sub district.
Besides that they also seized 40 ksgs of polythene from traders in uptown and downtown areas.
Meanwhile, ADC Tral S.A. Raina has said that market checkings in the area will continue to ensure better services to the people.
