With temperatures continuing to soar, the Metrological Department has predicted rain and thundershowers in parts of Kashmir Valley from Friday night.
A spokesperson of the meteorological department said there will be thundershowers and light rain at some isolated parts in Kashmir.
“From Saturday afternoon, there will be clear but cloudy weather,” he said.
Kashmir is rain thirsty for quite some time. There has been no respite from the sweltering heat conditions during the daytime, even though autumn has almost set in.
However, evening time brings some respite from heat wave conditions and people come out in droves in parts of Kashmir to enjoy the cool breeze.
