Militants on Monday attack an Army camp by firing a grenade with Under Barrel Grenade Launcher (UBGL) in central Kashmir district of Budgam.
A senior police officer said that militants fired a grenade with the help of a UBGL an Army camp of 50 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) in Chattergam in Budgam on Monday evening. “The grenade missed the target and exploded outside the camp,” he said.
He said no one was injured in the attack, adding the militants managed to escape from the spot. “The area has been cordoned off and a search operation has been launched to nab the attackers,” he added.
