According to the information given by the President of Madhya Pradesh Wushu Association,. N.K. Tripathi, the 23rd Sub Junior National Wushu Competition and Sub Junior and Junior Khelo India National Competition is being organized in Jammu from 26 March to 31 March 2024. In which about 1500 players from all over India will participate. In this competition, teams from Delhi, Andhra Pradesh, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Andaman and Nocobar Islands, Chandigarh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Lakshadweep etc. will participate. A total of 53 players and team from Madhya Pradesh will participate in this competition under the guidance of Sarika Gupta Vishwamitra Awardee, Coach Secretary of Indian Wushu Team. 60 officials will participate in the competition. A total of 13 female players from Madhya Pradesh have been selected for Sub Junior and Junior Khelo India National Competition from West Zone Competition Goa. Both the competitions are being organized simultaneously in two different stadiums of Jammu. Madhya Pradesh's technical officers Nitesh Barman and Vinod are included in the competition and Vidya Dubey, Purnima Rajak and Liaquat Mansuri have been appointed as team managers. Madhya Pradesh's international gold medalist player Krishnika Gupta is also a part of the Wushu team. Sports Director Mr. Ravi Gupta, Co-Director Mr. B.S. Yadav, Mayor Annu Bhaiya, Olympic Secretary Mr. Digvijay Singh, Sports Officer Ashish Pandey, Madhya Pradesh Wushu Association Treasurer Siddharth Srivastava, Joint Secretary Rajneesh Saxena, Judge Vikas Chaturvedi, Shailendra Sharma, Maya Rajak etc. gave their best wishes for the competition.
