A team of Motor Vehicle Department booked over 108 vehicles for violation of different provisions of new Motor Vehicles Act & Rules besides seizing 07 vehicles and suspending 09 DL's during the last 20 days.
The team led by ARTO MVD conducted continuous road checking at different locations in Doda and in its adjoining areas, wherein various traffic violators were booked. The team also collected a fine of Rs 89000 from the violators during the last 20 days.
The main objective to carry out these activities was to strictly regulate the traffic rules and checking of the passenger vehicles according to the new Motor Vehicles act.
