Mysterious death of Shalimar boy;

Refuting claims of police wherein they said the deceased boy had a clinical history of GTCS (epilepsy), the family of Qaiser Hameed Sofi, 16, Sunday demanded impartial probe into the death of their beloved one.
Alleging that their beloved one was killed by the forces, the family said, “Our son had no history of GTCS (epilepsy).”
The doctors as per the hospital admit card declares that “It is a case of poisoning and assault.”
Bilal Ahmad, one among the family members of deceased youth said“Police is trying to shield the killers by issuing such kind of fabricated statements. We know that our son had no history of epilepsy. The report prepared by the doctors also reveals that kidney of patient is damaged by beating.”
Ahmad further said that “One of the eye-witnesses informed family that our son was arrested by the forces.”
Meanwhile, the family also staged protest at Srinagar’s press enclave.
The family and relatives of Qaiser while holding placards displaying ‘we want justice’ were chanting slogans like ‘Qatilu Ko Saza Do’ (Punish the killers).
The family demanded impartial probe in the mysterious death. “The authorities should order probe into the killing of Qaiser so that culprits would be punished.”
Pertinently, Qaiser, a resident of Doud Mohalla Shalimar, had gone missing on October 27, and was found lying unconscious in a drain next day.
He was rushed to SKIMS Soura where he was in coma for some days and lost battle of his life around 10 PM on Friday night.
