
Jammu, Feb 13: The semi-finals of the Martyrs Memorial 5-Day Hockey Tournament were played with great enthusiasm, witnessing closely fought encounters and impressive performances.
In the first semi-final, Jammu and Kashmir Police defeated Jammu Central 2–0 in a penalty shootout after a hard-fought match. Prabjot Singh, goalkeeper of J&K Police, was declared Man of the Match for his crucial saves.
In the second semi-final, Shahbad Hockey Academy edged past Punjab Police 4–3 in a penalty shootout following an evenly contested game. Vikas, goalkeeper of Shahbad Hockey Academy, was named Man of the Match for his outstanding performance.
J&K Police and Shahbad Hockey Academy have qualified for the final of the tournament.
