
Baramulla, Feb 25: Unknown individuals allegedly cut down about 100 high-density apple trees in Saloosa Kreeri village, destroying a plantation owned by local farmer Ghulam Mustafa Malik. The orchard, cultivated over nearly 20 years, was Malik’s primary source of livelihood. Malik offered a Rs 10,000 reward for credible information leading to the perpetrators and urged police to conduct a thorough investigation to prevent similar incidents in the future.
