106th Army Educational Corps Day observed

Leh, June 1: The General Officer Commanding (GOC), Spear Corps, along with all ranks, extended warm greetings and best wishes to all personnel, veterans, and families of the Army Educational Corps (AEC) on the occasion of its 106th Raising Day.

The occasion marks the longstanding contribution of the AEC in strengthening the intellectual and educational framework of the Indian Army through training, academic support, and capacity building of soldiers across ranks.
Spear Corps acknowledged the pivotal role played by AEC personnel in enhancing professional competence, leadership development, and operational effectiveness through structured education and continuous learning initiatives.
Officials highlighted that the Army Educational Corps has been instrumental in promoting knowledge, discipline, and skill development within the armed forces, contributing significantly to the overall preparedness and efficiency of the Army.
On the occasion, tribute was also paid to the dedication and service of AEC personnel and veterans who have contributed over more than a century to military education and nation-building.
The GOC reiterated that the commitment of AEC continues to remain vital in shaping well-informed, motivated, and capable soldiers ready to meet evolving challenges.
