Two persons died in separate accidents in Banihal and Ramsoo areas of Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday.

In the first incident, Mohammad Iqbal Wani (43), son of Late Abdul Latief Wani, fell from the tin rooftop of a mosque at Sarbghani village in Ramsoo while carrying out repair work.
He was rushed to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Banihal but was declared dead on arrival.
In another tragedy at Chapanari, Banihal, Sajjad Ahmad Naik (27), son of Rehmatullah Naik, slipped into a deep gorge while cutting grass.
He was initially treated at SDH Banihal and referred to GMC Anantnag for advanced care.
However, he succumbed to his injuries en route near Qazigund.
